kshn already reported on nine folks from liberty county who completed the recent chevron houston marathon. now, the results website has added two more names of those from liberty county who finished the challenging 26.2 mile event. we previously reported that 43-year-old robert dunn of liberty finished among the top 5 percent of all runners with a time of 3:15:40. Now, we know 41-year-old shannon smith of hardin also finished among the elite runners with a time of 3:14:59 – that time was good for 299^th among all those competing. it also placed him 41 seconds ahead of robert dunn for the top spot among liberty county PARTICIPANTS. shannon smith and his wife, susan, have three CHILDREN, and he works as a supervisor for petro logistic. since our report, another name was also added to the chevron houston marathon results website. daniel masset, 27, of cleveland completed the event with a time of 4:31:16. again, with the addition of two names to the chevron houston marathon results list, eleven liberty county residents completed the race led by 41-year-old Shannon smith of hardin. he finished in the top 300 among the 6,287 who completed the 26.2 miles.
