27-year-old killed in Monday morning wreck

A tragic accident south of Dayton on state highway 146 claimed the life of a 27 year old Liberty woman Allyssa Gabrielle Salazar. According to Dayton police Lieutenant Shane Burleigh at about 2:30 Monday morning, a woman identified as Bernice Montano was driving on Highway 146 when she told officers she braked suddenly to avoid some animals in the roadway. The breaks on vehicle she was driving, said to be an older model 4 door car, locked up throwing the vehicle into a spin. The car crossed all four lanes of traffic before spinning into the median where it rolled over several times. According to the Dayton police lieutenant, Allyssa Gabrielle Salazar, 27 was partially ejected through the sunroof of the vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution due to the nature of the accident. No other vehicles were involved.
