Calling all golfers. The 8th annual Patriots Day Golf Tourney is set for Saturday September 12th, at the Liberty Municipal Golf Course. The tournament is a fundraiser for Dayton Memorial American Legion Post 512. It’s a four person scramble format offering prizes and plaques for first, second and third place finishers. Other contests with prizes within the event include closest to the pin, closest to the line and longest drive and a variety of door prizes. Entry fee is 100 dollars for each individual, full team entries will also be accepted. Entry includes Green Fees, range balls, lunch and beverages. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Dayton Memorial American Legion Post 512. 10% of the proceeds, will be donated to Operation Comfort Warriors, which helps to provide relief to wounded, injured or ill military personnel.
