Big changes for high school football fans and those are effective tonight. There are changes in local football games due to the uncertainty of Hurricane Delta in the Gulf of Mexico. As we have been reporting, the Liberty Panthers will play tonight (Thursday) with kickoff at 6:30 PM on the road in Orangefield. Hull-Daisetta ISD has also rescheduled. The Bobcats have cancelled their junior high Football game today and it will not be made up. Bobcat Varsity Volleyball, at Deweyville, will play on Saturday, Oct. 10th at 4:30 pm and Bobcat Football at Deweyville has been moved to Saturday, Oct 10th at 7:00 pm. Moving on to Hardin, The Hornets football game has been moved to tonight (Thursday) @ 7:00 p.m. The Hardin Middle School and JV football games have been cancelled. As of now, the Hardin volleyball team will travel to Trinity as scheduled on Friday (tomorrow) afternoon. Dayton Football Coach Blake Ware tells us, as of last evening, the Broncos are not planning any football game changes this week.
