Car v. Shoppa's John Deere

We missed this report last week but now we have details. Last Friday afternoon, a car crashed into the Shoppa’s John Deere Tractor Dealership on US 90 in Liberty. According to Liberty Police Sergeant Joel Davila, 31-year-old Daniel Julius of Liberty was westbound on 90 but lost control of his vehicle. The accident report indicates that Mr. Julius crossed the eastbound lanes of Hwy 90 and plowed into the front window of the building. Mr. Julius was transported to a Kingwood hospital, by City of Liberty Emergency Medical Services, with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries. Sgt. Davila said the automobile struck the Shoppa’s showroom window spraying glass into the dealership. The shattered glass did cause minor injuries to Shoppa employees inside the showroom. Liberty Police Sergeant Davila says the crash is still under investigation.
