It was almost a year ago, on November 23, 2019, when word came out of Houston of the arrest of Liberty County District Attorney Logan Pickett. The charge was assault of a family member, specifically, his wife Megan Pickett. In August of this year, Mary McFaden, Assistant Harris county District Attorney filed, on behalf of the state of Texas, a motion to dismiss the charge against DA Pickett. That motion was granted by Judge Shannon Baldwin. To recap - Early the morning of November 23rd, 2019 – almost a year ago, KSHN began reporting Liberty County District Attorney Logan Pickett had been arrested for assault in downtown Houston. After being processed at Houston Police Department, he was released the following day.
