County Elections administrator addresses drive through voting

There was a lot of controversy surrounded this past November 3rd election. One that garnered a lot of attention was the lawsuit filed against Harris County for their drive thru voting stations. Just days before the election the Texas Supreme Court denied a petition by a group of Republicans seeking to invalidate nearly 127,000 drive-thru votes in Harris County. Liberty County Elections administrator addressed the drive thru voting issue and why he chose not to have those available in Liberty County.

Elections administrator for Liberty County Klint Bush said trying to determine the physical abilities of each and every voter asking to vote via a drive through voting center would open both himself and his staff up to far too many legal liabilities to be worth the risk. We will hear more from Mr. Bush as he looks back on the largest Election Day in US history.
