On Tuesday, Liberty County added 29 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. That pushes the county now to 410 cases of coronavirus since the count began. The Liberty County Office of Emergency Management reports these latest new cases range in age from under 20 to 80+. 7 of these new cases come from North Liberty County, while 22 are from the south end. Since the start of the pandemic in March, there have been three deaths attributed to COVID-19. Public Health Experts urge citizens to practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash hands frequently, and then when sneezing or coughing do so in the elbow. Infectious experts also say for those with a fever above 100 degrees, they are urged to stay home. Again, on Tuesday, Liberty County emergency management staff added 29 new cases of COVID-19. With the 23 we reported on Monday from over the weekend, added to this new 29 confirmed cases brings the count to 52 just this week. Repeating, that brings the number of total confirmed COVID-19 cases since March to 410 here in Liberty County.
