Thursday, Liberty County emergency management officials added 32 more confirmed cases of COVID-19. The county now has surged to 442 confirmed cases and now with 124 recoveries. Crista Beasley-Adams of the Liberty County Office of Emergency Management, reports the new cases range in age from under 10 to 80+. Fifteen of the new cases come from North Liberty County and Seventeen are from the south end of the county. Since the start of the pandemic in March, there have been three deaths attributed to COVID-19 symptoms. Public Health Experts urge citizens to practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash hands frequently, and sneeze or cough into the elbow. Experts also say if someone has a fever above 100, they should stay home. Again, Thursday, Liberty County emergency management staff added 32 new cases of COVID-19. That brings the number of total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Liberty County to 442.
