This coming Tuesday, September 29th, is the fifth and final opportunity during the month of September to become an unsung hero. As has been reported on KSHN, The Dayton Police Department and The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department teamed with The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for a blood drive each Tuesday in September. This blood drive takes place from 8:00to 11:00AM this coming Tuesday, at The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department Meeting Room, located at 2004 North Cleveland in Dayton. Its easy to schedule a specific donation time by going to daytontx.org/giveblood. Walks in are welcome if needed, however by pre-registering, it will make it easier to insure proper social distancing. Face masks are required during the donation process, but if a mask is needed one will be offered by staff members. Repeating, the 5th and final Tuesday blood drive will take place on Tuesday September 29th between the hours of 8:00AM and 11:00AM. The location is the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department Meeting Room, 2004 North Cleveland Street in Dayton. Remember, your donation of a pint of blood really will save lives.
