DCDC Director gets prestigious board position

Nominations Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) has elected Ann Marie Miller, Executive Director of Dayton Community Development Corporation, to serve on the I E D C Board of Directors. She was chosen for the post during IEDC's 2020 Annual Conference earlier this month and begins her term in January 1, 2021. Ms. Miller graduated from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. She is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. The Dayton economic development executive director celebrated 15 years’ experience in the Economic Development career field in July. Miller was Executive Director of the Buda, Texas economic development effort. Now of Dayton, and chief executive director of the DCDC, Ann Miller is originally from Oklahoma and a registered citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. Ann Miller said she is honored to be elected to serve as a director of the largest economic development organization in the world, It has over 5,000 members.
