The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has named Dean Bossert as the new Trinity River Wildlife Refuge manager.  Mr. Bossert is currently at Big Muddy Wildlife Refuge in the state of Missouri. Dean Bossert is expected to assume his refuge manager post in June. He replaces longtime Refuge manager Stuart Marcus who retired in October of 2019. Since that time, Refuge Biologist Laurie Gonzales and Bonnie Campisi Refuge Administrator have split management responsibilities. Both Gonzales and Campisi are looking forward to Dean Bossert's arrival
