In a press conference heard live here on KSHN.COM Texas Governor Greg Abbott explained the process by which Texas will begin reopening. In that press conference, Gov. Abbott said medical experts say it's to high a risk for schools to reopen to classroom instruction and as such, in person classes are canceled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. In addition the Governor issued a directive that retail businesses, excluding restaurants, will be allowed to reopen for business with conditions that are spelled out on the Texas Department of State Health Services website, https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/
