Grand and Reserve Dayton FFA Show


The results for the 71st Dayton FFA Livestock show are in. Like so many events, this one was delayed and modified because of the Coronavirus.















This year’s Grand Champion Steer was shown by Breely Buffamonte.











The Reserve Champion Steer was exhibited by Matthew Payne.












Grand Champion Commercial Heifer belonged to Savanna Hanson. The Reserve Champion Heifer was shown by Cameron Ripskowski.






Moving to the Market Swine division, this years Grand Champion was shown by Ryan Cormier. The Reserve Champion honor went to the hog exhibited by Skylar Dzanski.





Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Tanner Lott with the Reserve Champion honors going to Chesnie Payne.







As for the Market Broiler division Grand Champion went to Avery Philley with Alayne Philley securing Reserve Champion .









In the Market Rabbits division, the Grand Champion rabbits were show by James Spoerle while the Reserve Champion rabbits were exhibited by Savannah Balinger.




Registration for the live auction starts at 11:30 tomorrow, the sale begins at 12:30. There will be not BBQ this year because of the Coronavirus. Only buyers can attend the auction in person. The Auction will be streamed online at cattleinmotion.com. Online buyers may begin registering on the website. Just click on the Dayton FFA Livestock show link and it will take you to the information page. There you can register to bid online. Again, tomorrow is the Dayton FFA Livestock show at the Anson Rigby Dayton FFA Arena on State Highway 321 in Dayton.
