Hunting Licenses now available

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department(TPWD) reminds outdoorsmen that their hunting licenses will expire on Monday August 31st. With that in mind, new licenses for the 2020/2021 hunting season go on sale today, August 15th. Each year, Texans purchase over 2.4 million hunting and fishing licenses, which goes directly to fund a host of recreational and environmental opportunities. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments remind those who will be buying new licenses can do that either online, by phone, or in person.  However, those who plan to purchase a hunting or fishing license from a TPWD Law Enforcement Office or at their headquarters in Austin, will need to make an appointment in advance. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, walk-ins to Parks and wildlife offices are not permitted. Again, the hunting and fishing licenses for the upcoming season that begins September 1st, and extends through August 31st go on sale today, August 15th, More information is available online at the TPWD web site.
