For the last 30 years, the Liberty Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce has held the Liberty-Dayton 500 Auction to raise money for chamber operations and with that keep the annual chamber of commerce dues as low for members as possible. However, this year because of COVID-19, the chamber is replacing the popular 500 by having an online auction. The online auction is now underway as of Wednesday night and continues through July 22nd at 6 PM. Moore’s Hillje (spell it: HILLJE) Auction runs this auction for the Chamber. Merchandise to be sold is generous contributions from the shelves of the chamber members in Liberty and Dayton and the surrounding area. Kirk Moore, a recent kshn.com Party Line guest, says just like a live auction, any bidder must register before getting into the bidding. Mr. Moore tells us how someone registers. The link to the auction site is on the chamber website: libertydaytonchamber.com. Again, because of COVID-19, the Liberty Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is having an online auction. It’s a very important fundraiser to continue the Chamber of Commerce services and to keep membership dues low. The chamber auction began Wednesday and continues until 6 pm on July 22nd and is operating non-stop for bidders during that period. In a future newscast, we will list some of the items currently up for bidding in the auction.
