No County Requirement to Close

All over the US  states and counties are asking restaurants and bars ,  and in some cases, requiring the to shut their doors because of the coronavirus.  In Liberty County, Judge Jay Knight has made no requirement for such action. Instead he is leaving it up to individual business. Across Liberty County, some have made the choice to limit exposure by closing dining room service, and offering curb side pick up instead.  Drive through options are often available.  As to community fundraising events, most, if not all, have been canceled by the organizers.

Most citing the federal government request that Americans not gather together in groups of greater than 10.  Again, there is no requirement on the county level for businesses, including restaurants and bars, to close   but many have made the decision to close or not to close of their own free will.
