One of the very special annual events returns to the Liberty Municipal Golf Course this Saturday, September 12th. It’s the 8th Annual Patriots Day Golf Tournament featuring prizes and fun for those who participate. This fund raiser benefits the Dayton Memorial American Legion Post 512. The format is a four person scramble and prizes and plaques will be awarded to those teams finishing first, second and third. Other contests, within the tournament, are closest to the hole, longest drive, and closest to the line. The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $100.00 per person and team entries of $400.00 per team will be accepted. The entry fee includes green fees, range balls as well as beverages and lunch. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Operation Comfort Warriors, which helps to provide relief to wounded, injured or ill military personnel. Remember the tournament will be this Saturday, September 12th at the Liberty Municipal Golf Course. For more information, for an entry form, or to inquire about hole sponsorships call Jerry Killion at 936-402-0741, Lee Krigar at 936-776-1161 or Mark McClelland at 936-334-2017.
