Senator Nichols say's it will be a while before economy back to normal

The economic impact of COVID-19 continues to roar through the Texas Economy. State law makers and local governments have already begun to feel the loss in sales tax revenue mostly due to the shutdowns. District 3 State Senator Robert Nichols expects it to take a while to recover. Senator Nichols predicts the economy will get worse before improving. He cites the current Paycheck Protection period and some unemployment benefits will expire at the end of this month. State Senate District 3 is made up of 19 counties including Liberty County. Again, State Senator Robert Nichols says he does not see things getting back to normal over a year from now.
