Senator with help for SBA loans

Liberty County’s State Senator Robert Nichols has information for small businesses to get help for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The senator said –The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting small businesses, even where there are no local cases of the virus. We will give a website address later in this report to learn more.  The state senator also said, in a news release, Texas needs to support the small business and what they mean to our Texas economy. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has the availability of what’s known as the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program.  That could provide small businesses with working capital loans up to $2 million. These loans could help businesses overcome the temporary loss of revenue they may be experiencing.  Senator Nichols said Congress in Washington is considering other measures to support small businesses and families.
