Service past for Christine Zeno Albro


Christine Zeno Albro was born January 27, 1955 to the late Lonnie and Willie Mae Zeno. Christine received her education through Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated from Delta College in Beaumont, Texas with a degree as an Administrative Assistant. She accepted Christ as her savior at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas. In 1972 she married Edward Mayfield, Jr. and they were blessed with three sons. In 2007 her first devoted loving husband passed away. She then relocated to Moss Hill, Texas where she meet and married Robert Albro. She became a member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church under the current leadership of Pastor Carl McNelty where she served in the Senior Choir.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Willie Mae Zeno; her first husband of 34 years Edward Mayfield, Jr.; a brother, LaCharles Burks and a sister, Peggy Lou Mack.

She leaves behind: her husband, Robert Albro; three sons, Kenneth Mayfield, Sr. (Sharmaine) of Orange, Texas, Edward Mayfield III (Pylar) of Baytown, Texas, Kevin Mayfield (Deanna) of Baytown, Texas; a host of grandkids and great-grandkids; two brothers, John Zeno (Loretta), Richard Zeno (Martha); four sisters, Lula Washington, Donnie Albro (Leo), Lonnie Marie Boston, all of Baytown, Texas, Verella Thomas (Daryl) of Houston, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and a devoted friend, Bernice Jones.

Christine will truly be missed but we do celebrate her eternal resting place with her father in Heaven.
