James Ray Hudnall, 83, of Batson, TX, formerly of Trinity, TX passed away October 22, 2020, in Friendswood, TX. He was born in Batson, on March 14, 1937, to the late Eldridge Hudnall and Lila Mae West. He had lived in the Batson and Liberty area for many years before moving to Trinity where he lived for 28 years. Mr. Hudnall was an Industrial Machine Mechanic in the Oilfield Industry and a member of River of Life Church of Trinity for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ernest Franklin Sanders Jr. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 62 years, Nancy Hudnall of Trinity; son, James Ray Hudnall Jr. and wife Tanya of Huntsville, TX; daughters, Vicki Davis and fiancé Larry Trantham of Friendswood, TX, Veronica Edge and husband Steve of Norman OK, Denise Edgely of Batson, TX, and Nicole Williams and husband Jack of Daytona Beach, FL; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends. A private service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, with Reverend Mike Loftin officiating, interment to follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, TX.
