In late July, KSHN.com reported a new retail store was coming to Liberty, it is a Dollar Tree. We reported at that time the new building would be a 10,000 square foot retail business in Liberty on North Main Street.
That new building will be next door to Buddy’s Rental. Then in early August we reported Dollar Tree would also be locating a store in Cleveland as well. In Liberty, site work began a couple of weeks ago and appears to be moving along at a reasonable pace. Dollar Tree which recently bought out the Family Dollar store chain does have a few more locations than their biggest competitor, Dollar General, but both companies do have about 14,000 to 15,000 stores nationwide, and are said to be growing. We are told both the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar will continue to operate in Liberty.
