So many things that have become tradition have been postponed, changed or even canceled as the country works its way through the COVID-19 pandemic. One of those is the Liberty Municipal Library’s Story time for pre-school kids. Traditionally, every Wednesday at 11 am, little ones would gather at the upper floor of the library to enjoy a story and related craft. With the social distancing, and closed facilities, that has not been possible, until now. Dana Abshier, Director of the Liberty Library said they’ve begun a video story time that can be linked to on the library’s Facebook page. It’s pretty simple to access these videos, go to Facebook and search Liberty library, then click the link it finds for you. That will take you to their Facebook page and allow you to access the videos for your little ones. Director Abshier said they try to upload a new video each Wednesday morning, as close to 11 am as possible.
