Early Last week the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and the Liberty County SRT (Special Response Team) went into action to bring in a suspect located in the Dayton area. The subject was identified as Johnny Dean Knight, age 37. The defendant surrendered to deputies prior to the SRT arriving. A second person, identified as Christina Lou Timmons, was also at the location and detained.

There were also two other plastic bags with the suspected methamphetamine residue along with digital scales in the drawer. The deputies believed that the meth, scales and baggies were packaged for sale. Both Knight and Timmons were arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail without incident.
