Voting going strong

The turnout for early voting in Liberty County for the November 3rd General Elections started strong on Tuesday with 1,420 people casting ballots countywide. Wednesday’s early voting totals also were strong with 1634 voting in one of the four voting locations available in Liberty county. On Thursday, early voting continued across the county at a brisk pace with 1,579 ballots cast. Early voting in Liberty County continues today from 9 am to 4 pm. The four early voting locations are the Jack Hartel Community Building, 318 San Jacinto Street in Liberty; Cleveland Civic Center, 210 Peach Avenue in Cleveland; Dayton Community Center at 801 South Cleveland St. in Dayton and Hardin City Hall, 142 CR 2010 in Hardin. Voters are reminded they will need an approved photo ID in order to vote early or on Election Day, November 3.

Remember, no matter where you live, you can vote at any of the four voting locations during early voting, and on Election Day. For voting information, call the Liberty County Election Administrators Office at 936-253 -8050.
